This tutorial applies only to Seven A1, B1 and Seven A2D devices.
It can sometimes happen that the software loses the path to the maps and data, necessary for its proper operation. In particular, following a bad reading of the SD card or during a change.
This loss results in the inability to access maps and / or data (routes, waypoints, POI) stored on the external microSD card.
You will see easily this malfunction: if you have not added a vector map to the internal memory of the device, the OnRoad mode will remain inactive and the icon that symbolizes it (the wheel) will be displayed in very light gray.
If you have added one or more vector cards to the internal memory, the OnRoad mode will remain active but you will not be able to access the cards stored on the external microSD as you can verify by clicking on Data from the dashboard Cards.
Here is how to fix this problem very easily (unless the card itself is mute, following a removing device plugged for example!).
